Front Desk/Security -Part Time

You will be the initial point of contact, focusing on general front desk duties within a property management setting, such as handling phones, emails, scheduling appointments, assisting with administrative tasks, provde support to the property management team, handling resident applications, managing maintenance tickets, maintaining security and assist with various community projects

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer the phone and accurately transfer calls or take detailed messages
  • Perform all levels of customer service with owners, guests and vendors including prospective resident needs, basic resident questions/concerns, parking information and community policies
  • Ensuring the lobby area, front entrance, entryway and other common areas are clean and organized at all times
  • Ability to address upset or distraught customers and determine their specific needs in order to communicate an effective solution or seek the appropriate team member for assistance
  • Administrative office functions as determined by the company, including, but not limited to, identifying office supply needs and purchasing, office cleanliness, making copies, etc
  • Ensure proper distribution of resident notices
  • Accept and enter maintenance service requests from residents and employees, provide status updates and follow up with appropriate team members for assistance
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates must be detail and customer service oriented
  • Must have Energy, great customer service skills, and professionalism
  • Must be able to multitask and use a multi-line telephone system
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in person and by phone and email, with high professionalism
  • Successful candidates will exhibit a demonstrable passion for high quality results and a can-do attitude
  • Computer skills (microsoft),  Excellent planning & Organizatioonal skills 
  • Great communication-verbal and written skills. (Bilingual in spanish a plus)
  • Must be able to multitask and use a multiline telephone system
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in person and by phone and email, with high professionalism
  • Successful candidates will exhibit a demonstrable passion for high quality results and a can-do attitude
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends

This role is non-exempt and has an anticipated annual pay rate of $15 an hour for a new employee depending on a number of relevant factors including individuals’ experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, client/property or company budgetary limitations/guidelines, and other job-related company and market considerations.  This position may be eligible to receive discretionary and/or performance-based bonuses on a spot or annual basis, which are variable depending on individual merit/performance, budgetary limitations, company performance, and other job-related factors.  This non-exempt role will be eligible for overtime for all hours worked in excess of 40 per week.  Full-time positions (30+ hours/week) are eligible for 2 weeks paid vacation, 3 weeks sick and related leave, 11 paid holidays, and health & welfare benefits as outlined on the Company’s website.  To learn more about our company and our benefits, go to: https://pratumco.com/careers/
